Bo-Yu Yang (楊博宇)

About ​

I am Bo-Yu Yang, a first-year Ph.D. student at the Information Processing Group (IPG), part of the School of Computer and Communication Sciences (IC), EPFL. Currently, I am very fortunate to be advised by Prof. Michael Gastpar. My research interest includes Information Theory, Learning Theory, Privacy, Quantum Information Theory, and Finance.

Previously, I received my B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University in 2025, where I was advised by Prof. Hao-Chung Cheng.

Here are my recent research works, CV and writings. During my leisure time, I love playing the piano, working out, photography, literature, and philosophy.
